With the aim to promote the Made exhibition that will take place from the 2nd to the 5th of October, the Israel Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with Made Exhibition and the Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv, organized an event dedicated to architecture and its development and challenges in the next millennium.
The event was opened by the Ambassador of Italy to Israel H.E. Francesco Maria Talo’, followed by Roberto Della Rocca Vice President Italy Israel Chamber of Commerce and Yarden Leal-Yablonka , Director, Development and External Relations for The Peres Center for Peace.
Amongst the speakers, Architect Yoav Messer, Lev Libeskind, Agostino Ghirardelli, Tagit Klimor and David Knafo.
The speakers enlightened the participants to this event on how to express architectural beauty, overcoming challenges like crowded cities, emergent countries, increasing of air pollution and sustainability.
Following the conference, in the framework of the workshop, the IIC organized an “instant competition” where fifty participants were given a drawing kit with the aim to produce some sketches on specific themes.
At the end of the competition the judges selected two winners who will be taking part to the Israeli delegation to the MADE fair in Milan.
The winners were Architect Haya Mani from Jerusalem and Yuval Har-Lev Dotan from Tel Aviv, Interior Designer
As a conclusion of the event, the public enjoyed a networking cocktail overlooking the sunset at sea.
