The beauty of the Italian Design is recognized worldwide and, especially in Israel, there is ever more request for homes, offices, hotels, public places and restaurants designed with an Italian style.
In this framework, on 15th of December 2010, the Israel-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Italian Embassy organized the first “Italian Industrial Design Day” in Israel.
At the event, that took place at the Mediatheque of the Design Museum in Holon, participated, among the other guests and journalists, three very important Italian designers – Mr. Paolo Pininfarina, Mr. Piero Gandini and Mr. Matteo Alessi
The participation was really impressive and many students received prizes and awards from the different companies which were present at the evening.
The guests of the event had the opportunity to admire, in addition, the exhibition of the “Farnesina Design Collection” with important Italian Industrial Design Objects selected directly from the collection of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
