From 22th to 24th October 2013, Tel Aviv saw the seventh edition of Watec, one of the most important worldwide trade exhibitions about water and water technologies worldwide.
The Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv, with the collaboration of Italia-Israel Chamber of Commerce organized a bilateral session dedicated to the Italian technological innovation in the hydric sector entitled “Food Safety and water: a look towards Expo 2015”.
The conference, which took place October 23th, aimed to enforce relations and cooperation between Italian and Israeli companies and institutions that operate within the water management sector in both countries.
Due to the interest, shown by the Israeli public in Expo 2015 that will take place in Milan, Fabrizio Sala, the Authority of Lombardy Region in charge of promoting EXPO 2015, participated the conference with a video promoting Expo’s theme and its connection with food safety and water management.
The bilateral session saw the active participation of various executives and delegates like Giancarlo Cremonesi, President of ACEA, and Yossi Yaacoby, from Mekorot, the two biggest water companies in Italy and Israel.
Beside the many companies from both countries present at the event, the crowd enjoyed the welcome greetings from Michele Valensise, the Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Shimon Tal, President of Watec 2013
