Educational tour organized for Israeli Tour Operators and journalists by the Chamber of commerce. May 30th, June 5th 2012.

Due to the continuous changes in the entire Mediterranean basin, with the consequent change in the geopolitical situation of the area, it has been noticed a growing interest among the Israeli population for the Italian territory and, to be more precise, for all those less popular tourist destinations. It is in this context that the Israel Italy Chamber of Commerce in Tel Aviv has conceived and designed a collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari involving tour operators, hotels and all the tourist destinations of the Cagliari area in order to increase israeli tourist flows towards the sardinia region and its beauties.

Together with the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari, the Israel Italy Chamber of Commerce inTel Aviv has collaborated in the creation of an educational tour in Sardinia which was attended by journalists from the major national newspapers, the operators of the major tourist agencies and the well known national opinionmakers in the field of tourism. Furthermore, during the educational tour various food and wine tastings of typical Sardinian territory were held in order to highlight the connection and bond between the products and the territory.
