The Israel Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry is glad to present you the next edition of MIA- 39º International Food Show, being held at the Rimini Expo Center, between the 14th-17th of February 2009( www.miafiera.it ).

MIA is Europe’s most important and complete expo event for the eating out trade. MIA’s success derived from its exclusive formula that highlights everything connected with food and beverage, from service method to logistics, consumption and trend analysis. In the last edition there were 88.087 visitors, of whom 2,918 were from abroad.

The 39th edition of MIA will be divided into seven specialized sections:

  • Catering: the leader companies in the eating out trade will participate to the expo.
  • Typical Flavours: The great success of the last edition proved an important desire to rediscover traditions and flavours of old, but also the wish to get to know the gastronomic culture of far-off countries.
  • Frigus: 12º Specialized Show of Frozen Food
  • Sandwiches and Snacks: new forms of consumption that are fundamental in present-day eating habits will be exposed.
  • BioCatering: this section concerns the market of organic products for eating out. BioCatering is a steadily growing market with interesting new opportunities for the expansion of traditional and collective food service, particularly in schools.
  • Gluten Free: After the new regulations foreseeing the use of Gluten Free, the latter became a new business opportunity for the companies.
  • Logistics: alongside to each section, there will be an area dedicated to Logistics for food & beverage: software, transport, logistic and storage solutions, logistics trade members.

 

Simuoltaneously PIANETA BIRRA BEVERAGE & CO, the 11th International Exhibition of Beers, Beverages, Snacks, Furnishing and Fittings for Pub and Pizza Parlours, will take place.
