The Israel Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry is glad to announce that a new edition of SIGEP, the International Exhibition for Artisan Production of Ice Cream, Pastry, Confectionary and Bakery, will take place in Rimini Expo Center, between the 17th-21th of January 2009 ( www.sigep.it )
This will be a privileged encounter between supply and demand, a special opportunity to launch and test new products.
At SIGEP, the entire artisan confectionery trade is highlighted in all its manufacturing, creative and commercial forms: raw materials, basic products, plant, machinery, furnishing and fittings.Alongside an expo area of 90,000 m2, which in 2009 will occupy no less than sixteen halls, SIGEP traditionally features specialized events whose participants are great masters of the confectionery art, real reference points for trade members from all over the world.
Sigep 2009 will include:
IceCream: Technologies, raw materials and compound ingredients for ice cream sector.
Confectionery: Technologies, raw materials and compound ingredients for confectionery sector.
Chocolate: Raw materials, technologies and quality chocolate production.
Decoration: Articles for product packaging and display.
Bakery: Technologies, raw materials and compound ingredients for bakery sector.
Furnishing and Fittings: Fitting, equipment and accessories for sales outlets.
Pizza: Technologies, raw materials and compound ingredients for pizza.
Sigep 2008 closed with a new record of trade visitors (95,357, 10% more than 2008, visitors from abroad totalled 15,563, +23% on 2008, from 128 countries).
At its 30th edition, the expo is acknowledged as the world’s most important in the artisan ice cream sector, a primary European showcase for artisan Italian confectionery and is also strengthening its position in the artisan bakery field.
