Automotive Tech Tour
The Israel Italy Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, hosted this week a delegation of 5 Italian companies, CSI Spa, TurinTech, INglass, Albelissa and DACA-I, to the Automotive Tech Tour, a new initiative dedicated to the technological innovation in the automotive sector, in the heart of Tel Aviv, the startup nation.
We had the chance to attend the Ecomotion Main Event, that with the presence of 130 startups and 4000 participants has been an amazing opportunity to discover the newest innovations in the market, and our delegation of Italian companies had the chance to meet with some of the best startups in the mobility sector.
OurCrowd, one of the main platforms of equity crowdfunding worldwide, hosted the delegation for the “Ecomotion Week Mobility Networking Breakfast”, where we visited their Tel Aviv offices, offering a further opportunity of networking and 1:1 meetings with Israeli counterparts. The morning was followed by a visit to The Floor, the Fintech Hub inside the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, of which Intesa is partner; our Chamber organized for the afternoon a series of B2B meetings between Italian delegates and their Israeli matching companies, aimed to facilitate possible collaborations and the exchange of ideas that could enhance the innovation process.
During the three-days tour, the 5 companies attended over 90 meetings B2B: 24 at the Main Event EcoMotion, 32 at the OurCrowd event and 34 at The Floor, specifically organized by our Chamber. These are incredible statistics, and each one of the companies has been extremely satisfied and inspired by the startups they met, that now are very likely to form partnerships with. Overall, the delagation got in touch personally with over 35 Israeli counterparts.
During these intense three days, the delegates have been completely caught up in the florid Israeli ecosystem, and in the last day they enjoyed a wonderful guided visit to Jerusalem, where they had the opportunity to discover everything about the beautiful Old City and its mixed culture brought by the coexistence of the three monoteistic religions: Judaism, Christianism, Islamism.
We would like to thank everyone who made this possible: the amazing Ecomotion team, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, OurCrowd and The Floor that hosted us and were so collaborative with the organization, the delegation of 5 companies that came all the way from Italy and the Israeli startups who took the chance to meet with us and exploit new opportunities!
